MIXED MEDIA
Yael’s mixed media pieces explore fiber and text-based art, incorporating repurposed materials such as fiber, threads, hair, cheesecloth, soil and leather gloves. Although she does not define her practice as social justice, the viewer can’t help but recognize the concerns for the environment and women’s rights in her work.
